To drum up awareness and interest in the upcoming 2012 Ryder Cup, MATTER helped one of golf’s premier tournaments celebrate their year-out mark in style. We created a spectacular, attention-grabbing charity event set against the iconic Chicago skyline, highlighted by both Ryder Cup Captains hitting golf balls off of the Trump Tower’s 16th floor and onto a floating green on the Chicago River.
The events and spectacles of the day not only imprinted the 2012 tournament into the minds of the host city’s population, but it also put it on the map for sports fans all over the world—a year ahead of time.
